While first phase of the runway reconstruction work, which commenced on September 23, 2010 is expected to be completed by February next year, the second phase will start from November 1, 2010 and be completed by June 1, 2011. The third phase of the runway reconstruction work will be taken up from February 1, 2011 and will be completed by July 1, 2011. Along with work on the primary runway, other associated infrastructure work will also be carried out. |
