'Mother Express', an exhibition train to commemorate the birth centenary of Mother Teresa, was inaugurated yesterday at Sealdah station in Kolkata by Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee.

'Mother Express', an exhibition train to commemorate the birth centenary of Mother Teresa, was inaugurated yesterday at Sealdah station in Kolkata by Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee.

The train that focuses on the life, work and message of Mother Teresa, will travel all over the country in the next six months, informed Eastern Railway sources. The train comprises three air-conditioned coaches, in which photographs, write-ups on the life and message of Mother Teresa have been kept for public viewing.
The Missionaries of Charity helped the railways by supplying photographs and various materials.

The train started from Baruipur yesterday and will visit Krishnagar, Kolkata, Bandel, Howrah, Asansol, Durgapur, Bolpur and Malda before leaving for Katihar in Bihar.
