Air France has introduced Premium Voyageur, a new intermediary cabin available on long-haul flights equipped with fixed-shell seats, on flights from Paris to Mumbai & Bangalore
Located between the Voyageur (Economy) and Business cabins, the Premium Voyageur cabin offers passengers 40 per cent additional space compared to Economy Class, with an average of 22 Premium Voyageur seats available over a surface area which used to occupy 40 Economy seats.
As per the company release, with a fixed-shell seat which reclines to 123 degree, the 48 cms seat width, ten cms leather armrests and 97 cms seat pitch for extra legroom offers comfort. Air France is the first European airline to offer a fixed-shell seat in an intermediary cabin. A full-fare ticket in the Premium Voyageur cabin will earn passengers 25 per cent more Flying Blue miles than with a full-fare Economy class ticket.
From now on, customers can book and purchase tickets in Premium Voyageur class on flights to all Air France international long-haul destinations served by Boeing 777s (excluding Caribbean & Indian Ocean), A330s and A340s. By the end of 2010, the Premium Voyageur cabin will be available to 58 destinations. |
