Thomas Cook (India) Ltd’s Centre  of Learning held an inter-collegiate quiz competition “Explore with Thomas Cook” on September 13, 2012 at the Indian Merchants Chamber, inaugurated by Ms. Mashanta Romani, Ex-Director India Tourism. 

With an incredible number of 101 teams (colleges) participating this year including institutes from Mumbai, Nashik & Goa, the event was buzzing with enthusiasm due to an attendance of over 200 students. Questions were based on destinations, including Incredible India, multi choice options, audio visual, dumb charades, Pictionary, etc. 

This was a unique initiative from Centre of Learning with an aim to increase awareness of the travel, tourism, & service industry amongst students. “Explore with Thomas Cook” is an annual event that takes place to commemorate World Tourism Day which falls on September 27. 

Students from Ramnarain Ruia College emerged as winners bagging a rolling trophy, gold medals and goodie bags. Jai Hind college & Ramnarain Ruia college came in as the first and second runners-up, respectively.
