What's more, this year prices to attend have dropped considerably to ensure that as many people as possible can benefit from the fantastic learning and networking opportunities available.

The Summit is taking place on 6-7 October in Mumbai, and more than 50 speakers will present across 14 in depth conference sessions cover social media, online marketing, channel management, mobile, vc funding, future technology and much more.

The event will kick off with a keynote debate featuring expert speakers from both the travel and internet spaces. Azran Ozman-Rani, CEO of Air Asia X, and Chris Amenechi, Senior Director e-Commerce for Continental, will debate travel technology futures with Kiran Mani, business head of Google India, and David Peller, VP EMEA & India, ITA Software.

On day two, the opening session brings together the companies that are at the forefront of driving travel sales online in India. Heads of MakeMyTrip, Yatra, Cleartrip and IRCTC will share their vision and predictions for the Indian online travel industry.

This will be followed by a fascinating insight into how your customer’s online research and buying behaviour is changing. Speakers include experts from a cross section of the industry, including CEO, Travelocity India; eBusiness Head, Thomas Cook; and Head of Customer Insight, IHG.

The India heads of leading internet players LinkedIn and eBay will also be sharing their views on social media and conversion strategies.

For the first time, the event will feature a track dedicated to companies that are just starting out online. In-depth sessions on establishing an e-commerce ready website, sourcing VC funding, developing a successful digital marketing strategy and converting lookers into bookers will ensure that a whole new wave of Indian travel companies will benefit from attending this year.

“Our 2010 India Summit is shaping up to be the most interesting and timely event we’ve run in many years. The way travellers are accessing information and communicating about travel products has changed dramatically, even in the last six months. This year’s Summit agenda reflects these developments, and is designed to help attendees really get to grips with the new channels available to sell travel”, said Simon Carkeek, EyeforTravel’s Executive Director.

“We’re also very aware that a large number of successful Indian travel companies are only now coming online. With the additional of our Essential Strategies Track, we aim to cater for this fast growing audience, and provide the critical advice and knowledge such companies need to really succeed online.”

The super early bird rate for the event ends on 15th August, so register today to get the best price. Remember, prices for the event are the lowest they have ever been, so there’s no excuse not to attend this year!
