GoAir forays into online travel booking business

This is the first time a budget airline company in India has diversified into the online travel agency business

GoAir is enhancing its presence to the travel business with the launch of an online travel agency, Go Travel. This is the first time a budget airline company in India has diversified into the online travel agency business to compete with the OTAs.

So far airlines have been offering some holiday packages to their guests in partnership with other firms, but the Wadia effort is different as they have got into the travel business itself competing with other agents who may be selling their flight tickets too.
