Bihar tourism website to be upgraded with all prominent tourist places

Detailed information about the history and significance of various historical and cultural hotspots in Bihar would also be put on the website

The website of the Bihar tourism department would have all tourist places in the state including the Dev Surya temple in Aurangabad district, Tourism Minister Sunil Kumar 'Pintu' said. The tourism department was in the process of updating its website in which all prominent tourist places will be displayed, he said while inaugurating the two-day cultural festival at Dev village.

Detailed information about the history and significance of various historical and cultural hotspots in Bihar would also be put on the website, he said. The tourism minister said the Dev Surva temple would soon emerge as a major tourist destination.

The state government has allocated Rs 30 lakh for infrastructure development and organized cultural festival there for the past eight years, he said. HRD Minister P K Shahi, who is the minister in charge of Aurangabad district, said a community building would be constructed from the area development fund of the area MLA Ramadhar Singh for tourists' stay of the tourists.
