Karnataka Govt to develop an international convention centre near Bengaluru International airport

Approves Rs. 250 crore for a Convention Centre. The project is expected to be ready before June 2012 with core components like main convention hall, exhibition hall and food court

The State Government of Karnataka has recently approved to develop the core components for an international convention centre proposed near Bengaluru International airport.

Spread across 35 acres of land, the total cost of the project is expected to be Rs. 250 crore wherein both the State Government and Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board will share the cost equally.

The project is expected to be ready before June 2012 with core components like main convention hall, exhibition hall and food court.
