With an aim to increase its presence in the Indian market, Germany-based airline and e-ticketing major Hahn Air, which works with IATA affiliated agents from across the world, is encouraging all India based IATA agents to process their tickets through Hahn Air medium.

Currently, out of the 4,000 IATA agents in India, 3,000 of these agents conduct their e-ticketing business through Hahn Air, while remaining 1,000 agents use the consolidator route for the same. In order to bring in the remaining agents under its banner, it has shortlisted about 400 agents from across the country, and aims to have these agents onboard by this year-end. Thereafter, the remaining 600 agents will also be included in a phased manner.
