Two arrested for misbehaving with foreign tourists at Rajgir in Bihar

The DGP said raids were still on to apprehend another youth, named accused in the case

Two youths were today arrested on the charge of harassing and misbehaving with a French tourist and his American friend at Rajgir in Bihar's Nalanda district yesterday, Director General of Police Abhayanand said. Both the youths confessed to have committed the crime, he claimed. The DGP said raids were still on to apprehend another youth, named accused in the case.

The French tourist, Clip with her American friend Alex were on a visit to Rajgir, a key Buddhist circuit place in Bihar, when some unidentified persons stopped them near Viplachalgiri hill, the police said Later they misbehaved with her and harassed her, the police said. They also got into a brawl, clashed with her friend when he attempted to resist them following which Alex fractured his left hand, the police said.
