Worldhotels, the exclusive collection of world’s unique independent hotels, has signed up with Chandigarh based Garib Nawaz Hotels for its first co-branded hotel in India - Worldhotels Turquoise at Tribune Chowk.

Roland Jegge, Vice President – Asia Pacific, Worldhotels announced on November 16 while informing, “We have tied up for a 80-room property in Chandigarh, which will be operational by March-April 2012. This hotel will be the first co-branded hotel for Worldhotels in India.”
 
The property comes under its 4-star Smart category, which will have a roof top revolving restaurant, which will be first of its kind in the city. The hotel will also be a LEED Certified property.

Worldhotels, meanwhile, has also reported a year-on-year increase of 29 per cent on revenue and a 21 per cent increase on its room night bookings for the third quarter of 2011 which will be used as a saleable proposition to enlarge its portfolio in India market.
