Website launched to promote tourism to Dang District in Gujarat

The Dang district administration has launched a website dedicated to promoting tourism in the tribal district. The idea is to promote places other than Saputara, Gujarat's only hill station, that are worth visiting.

Dang collector GR Chaudhary told TOI, "The website dangstourism.com has been launched and we have requested the visitors to key in their responses and advices to further improve the tourism experience. We want to attract more and more tourist in Dang."

Dang has geographical area of 1778 square kilometres with a population of 1.87 lakh and 311 villages. Out of the total geographical area, 1,698 sq km is forest area and it comprises 844 sq km reserved forest and 854 sq km protected forest.
