The World Travel and Tourism Council, India Initiative (WTTCII), announced its new team with the appointment of Vivek Nair, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts as the Chairperson of the Council for the year 2011 at the Annual General Meeting held in New Delhi on 11 December. 

Vikram Madhok, Managing Director, Abercrombie & Kent India has been appointed as Vice Chairman of the council for the year 2011. Sujit Banerjee, Former Secretary, Ministry of Tourism, has taken over as the Secretary General of the council.
