Following the election of a new Board of Directors by the recent Annual General Assembly held in Rimini (Italy), Mario Bevacqua, former Vice President, was elected President of UFTAA. Patrick Mwale of Zambia left ‘Finance’ to be the Vice President of UFTAA and is succeeded by Richard Lohento (Benin) as the new Vice President Finance.

All three officers of UFTAA, who make up the Executive Committee, served on the previous Board and are thus well placed to make a rapid start in their new capacities
