Kingfisher has agreed to a refund for unflown tickets issued by travel agents through the IATA billing and settlement link, IATA said in a communication to its member agents.

Kingfisher airlines was suspended by IATA from both its Clearing House in Geneva and its BSP plan for the failure to clear dues to the interline airline partners and also travel agents. The BSP suspension was done on March 8.

IATA has asked the member agents to put in all refund claims by May 3 and after the agents submit refund, Kingfisher will do a verification of the claims and is expected to report its evaluation of the amounts it needs to pay in the last week of May.
