Odisha will soon host a tourism conclave which will be in the lines of Kerala Tourism Mart.
In order to give a boost to the tourism sector and sensitise the stakeholders on the new tourism policy, the Hotel and Restaurant Association of Odisha (HRAO) has decided to conduct a ‘Tourism Conclave’ on December 2. It will be inaugurated by Tourism and Culture Minister Maheswar Mohanty.
The three-day annual convention will provide an opportunity to tour operators to explore Odisha’s tourism products like Golden Triangle, Buddhist Diamond Triangle, Bhitarkanika, Chilika Lake, textile circuit in Nuapatna and Sadeibareni as well as the tribal regions of the State.
The event, supported by Odisha Tourism, will see participation of tour operators from within the State and different parts of the country.
The Minister said he has called upon the domestic tour operators to highlight Odisha as a tourism destination with attractions for all categories of tourists including eco-tourism, village tourism and heritage sites.
