Tourism Ministry puts bilateral co-operation in top gear

With an objective to encourage tourism growth in the country, the Ministry of Tourism, among other measures, has put the bilateral co-operation mechanism in top gear. In fact, between August and October, Kumari Selja, Union Minister of Tourism has met three ministerial delegations, from Cyprus, Sri Lanka and Mexico.

The deliberations during these high level meetings were focussed on leveraging the true potential in the tourism sector in India with co-operation of these countries in the field of hospitality, tourism education and human resource development, among many others.
