TTF&OTM draws to a close with over 15,000 visitors

The country’s biggest travel show, TTF&OTM, came to an end today at Bombay Exhibition Centre, NSE Complex, Goregaon with over 15,000 people including 10,000 trade visitors visiting the fair in 3 days.

Among the Partner Organisations of TTF&OTM 2011 Mumbai were: Official Tour Operator – SOTC, Destination Management Partner – Akquasun Holidays, Official Trade Publication – TravTalk, and Online Partner – Traveltechie.com.

Awards were given to the participants for design and display of booths. (Pls. Refer towards the end for the Awards List)

Belgium, Croatia, Hungary, Israel, Philippines, Seychelles, and Uzbekistan were represented for the first time in TTF&OTM Mumbai. Canada, China, Egypt, Thailand, Israel and Nepal had a big presence as Partner Countries, while the Feature Countries were Macau, Turkey, Indonesia, Bhutan, Kenya, Korea and Philippines. The other overseas participants were from Argentina, Chile, Czech Republic, Ecuador, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Maldives, Mexico, Russia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, and the United Kingdom. 

From India, Partner States like Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal, Gujarat and Kerala participated with large private delegations of 50 plus each. Karnataka, West Bengal and Punjab were the Feature States this time, while Maharashtra was the Host State. 

The other states represented include Andhra Pradesh, Andaman, Assam, Chandigarh, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Delhi, Goa, Haryana, Jharkhand, Lakshadweep, Madhya Pradesh, Meghalaya, Orissa, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh. 

Most of the destinations, international as well as domestic, made an aggressive pitch for the Indian Tourist with attractive displays and eye-catching exhibits showcasing their attractions. Culture, nature, adventure, cuisine, history, antiquities, shopping, events etc. were all showcased here.
