Travel Agents Association of India(TAAI) announced on Saturday that it will carry out a a shut-shop across the country on May 7 as a protest against airfare practices by airlines.
TAAI issued a press statement stating that over 2,600 agents across the country will voluntarily shut shop on May 7.
The body demanded that there be complete transparency in ticket price break-up and also asked the government to and regulate airfare. TAAI also demanded that a consolidated air fare chart, which covers all facilities be given to passengers.
