SpiceJet on Thursday said that it will add 46 new domestic flights to its operations during the upcoming winter schedule, starting from October 27.
The airline will also launch new flights between Rajkot and Mumbai, Chennai and Durgapur from October 27.
The new services from the airline include flights on routes like Pune-Jodhpur, Chennai- Mumbai-Jodhpur, Bengaluru-Guwahati, Chennai-Vishakhapatnam, Chennai-Jaipur, Vijayawada-Vishakhapatnam and Hyderabad-Aurangabad sectors, the airline said in a statement.
Besides, adding new flights, SpiceJet will also enhance its operations with additional frequencies on sectors like Hyderabad-Varanasi, Bangalore-Shirdi, Chennai-Ahmedabad, Chennai-Guwahati, Hyderabad-Bangalore, Delhi-Ahmedabad, Kolkata-Chennai, Chennai-Bangalore besides reinstating its services on the Bangalore-Varanasi route.
"We are bullish on the growth potential of the country's smaller cities and towns and see great demand on the routes we have announced," said Ajay Singh, chairman and managing director, SpiceJet.
The airline will deploy a mix of its Boeing 737NG and Bombardier Q400 aircraft on the new routes.
