SpiceJet has announced further expansion of its domestic network by opening a new sector Bengaluru-Belgaum.
The booking for tickets on this route is now open. Flights on Bengaluru-Belgaum route would commence from November 22, 2012. The airline would be deploying Bombardier Q400 aircraft on Bengaluru-Belgaum route.
The Bombardier Q400 NextGen turboprop aircraft can accommodate 78 passengers and is widely accepted as the best short-haul aircraft globally.
Belgaum will be fourth destination of SpiceJet in Karnataka. At present, the airline operates from Bengaluru, Mangalore and Hubli. Bengaluru is also connected to Chandigarh via Mumbai.
