Singapore Tourism Board appoints TRAC Representations as its Marketing Representative in South India

Singapore ranks amongst the most aspired travel destinations for Indians. It is consistently one of the top visited destinations for families, honeymooners, cruisers, business travellers and incentive groups from India. Visitor arrivals from India to Singapore reached more than 520,000 in the first half of 2015 with a 6% year-on-year growth. South India is an important source market with direct flights from 8 different cities to Singapore, contributing nearly 30% of Indian visitor arrivals in 2014.

With two existing offices in India operating out of Delhi & Mumbai, the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) has appointed TRAC Representations as their marketing representative for the South India market to strengthen trade relations and execute marketing initiatives in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana and Kerala. TRAC will be operating offices in Bangalore and Chennai for STB.

Ms. Shreekala Sukumaran and Ms. Meenakshi Gupta have been appointed as marketing representative for Chennai & Bangalore market. Shreekala is an expert business leader and customer service consultant in the Tamil Nadu travel industry. She has worked with various leading travel companies of Chennai and with an experience of over 11 years. Meenakshi in Bangalore office has over 20 years of work experience. She has been working closely with the South Indian travel trade. She has extensive experience in sales, PR and marketing and has undertaken promotional activities for various international tourism destinations. Both have a strong background in each and every aspect the travel trade, which is an added advantage.
