As it faces competition from Air India on the India-Australia route, Singapore Airlines has stepped up its sales efforts by offering 50% off on fares on add on destinations. Air India is launching direct flights between Delhi and Sydney-Melbourne by the month end.
The airline announced today it is offering 50% off on add on-domestic destinations within Australia through its partner airlineVirgin Australia in a limited period offer. One way tickets to destinations such as Canberra, Gold Coast, Cairns from Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide range from Rs 2,500-5,000.
