Rajasthan Housing Board invites EoI to develop international convention centre in Jaipur

The project will be developed under PPP model on design-finance-build-operate-transfer basis.

The Rajasthan Housing Board (RHB), a Government of Rajasthan undertaking, plans to develop a state-of-the-art international convention centre at Pratap Nagar, Jaipur and has invited Expression of Interest (EoIs) for the same. The project will be developed under PPP model on design-finance-build-operate-transfer basis.

The convention centre will be set up in RHB's fully developed township Pratap Nagar; located in south Jaipur, which is spread across 3,000 acres. For the convention centre, RHB has earmarked an area of about 16 hectares with Floor Area Ratio (FAR) 2.25 and permissible ground coverage of 35 per cent. The project envisages development of multi-purpose divisible conference hall (minimum capacity of 5,000 seats); multi-purpose divisible auditorium/rooms (minimum capacity of 500 seats); indoor exhibition hall - 2,000 square metre at single level, development of 150-200 room hotel (upscale property) and business hotel/service apartments (mid-market/budget segment) with 200 rooms.

The last date for submission of EoIs to RHB is November 3, 2010.
