The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Education and Training Committee, Taylor’s University and Lyceum of the Philippines University will organise the Manila Youth Forum on Thursday, September 27, at Lyceum of the Philippines University. It will be a part of PATA Travel Mart 2012 (PTM2012), September 25-28, at the SMX Convention Center in Manila, Philippines.
The PATA 2012 Manila Youth Forum will offer tourism and hospitality students a unique opportunity to meet and hear from industry leaders as well as visit PTM2012. This forum will build on the recent student forum held during the PATA Annual Conference at Taylor’s University in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Speaking on the forum, Mr Martin J Craigs, PATA CEO, told, "We are proud to have The Manila Youth Forum as part of PATA’s goals to usher in the Next Gen of travel and tourism leaders. This forum is about bringing together today’s industry-wide professionals with the tourism and hospitality students of tomorrow to engage, analyse and innovate for the future of the travel and tourism industry."
Chairman, Mr Peter Semone, PATA Education and Training Committee, said "An initiative of PATA's Education and Training Committee, The PATA Youth Forum is an annual event. It is meant to inspire enthusiasm and excellence in the Next Gen of Asia Pacific tourism leaders.
