Oman's Ministry of Tourism has refocused its industry marketing strategy and will give greater priority to attracting short-term leisure and MICE business from India, besides the Gulf region, a senior official has said.
According to Salem Al Mamari, Director General of Tourism Promotion at Oman's Ministry of Tourism, this is being done against a backdrop of regional events that have spurred demand for travel to the Gulf, even though Oman will continue to strongly support traditional source markets.
