The first phase of an integrated tourism complex, developed by a subsidiary of Ominvest in Salalah, is expected to open doors for guests this year.
The first phase of the project consists of three upscale 5-star and 4-star hotels and light residential and commercial components. The project is developed by Salalah Resorts, a subsidiary of Oman International Development and Investment Company (Ominvest).
Ominvest said that substantial predevelopment activities are now nearing completion. “This is, however, subject to formal execution of a Development Agreement with the concerned ministry for which we await the ministry’s final approval, now expected during the first half of 2012,” noted Ominvest in its annual report
