OMD India has been awarded the media business for Tourism Australia. The win comes on the back of a multi-agency pitch. The size of the business in India is estimated to be in the region of Rs 13-15 crore. Carat is the incumbent on the business as per a report in E4M.
Tourism Australia is the Australia government agency responsible for the international and domestic marketing of Australia as a destination for leisure and business travel. The company has named India as one of its key markets of focus in the year ahead.
DDB is the creative agency on the business. While OMD officials were unable for comments, it is understood that the agency would be handling media planning and buying duties for Tourism Australia across media.
