Nasir Shah elected as chariman of JKTA

Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Alliance (JKTA) has unanimously elected noted tour operator, Nasir Shah as its chairman. Shah who was earlier Deputy Chairman JKTA, took over charge from outgoing chairman G M Dug.

Earlier JKTA had elected 11 Executive Committee members in its second Annual General Meeting. Later the executive committee unanimously elected Shah.

Other office bearers elected are: Javed Bashir Burza Deputy Chairman, Hilal Ahmad Dar Secretary General and Manzoor Pakhtoon Treasurer.

The elected Executive Council Members include G R Siah, Faiz Bakshi, Shamim Shah, Tanvir Hassan Dar, Ashraf Wani, Zahoor Qari and Manzoor Siddiq. Shah in his addressed assured the members that he would work for their greater interest.

“We have a blend of young and experienced team of members and we will work with dedication for greater interest of the members,” said Shah.

Shah appreciated the excellent works done by outgoing Chairman GM Dug and also sought his guidance for the smooth functioning of the Alliance.
