Tourists visiting Nashik for the upcoming Kumbh Mela will soon be able to book rooms in hotels through an online reservation facility through a website being developed by the district administration.
A senior official involved in the website project said, "The website will include, besides an online hotel booking facility, information about traffic plans during the Shahi Snan (royal bath), important days and events and medical facilities. The website, which will be ready within a few months, will be dedicated to the Kumbh."
The website is a part of the preparations the civic body and the district administration for the Kumbh Mela, which will be held in 2015.
