MTOA organizes study tour to Kashmir

Plans to promote Bhadarava and Thathri as new destinations to tourists

The Maharashtra Tour Organizers Association (MOTA) recently organized a study tour of Kashmir under the special invitation received from the Jammu Kashmir Tourism department. Shri. Sudhir Patil, the director of Kesari Tours led this study tour which was attended by administrators and operators of various tourism organizations in Maharashtra. 

The most important purpose of this study tour was to enable every tourist in future to experience Kashmir in the best possible way. In order to achieve that goal these stalwarts from tourism toured the region to understand the issues confronting the destination and debate with the concerned ministers as to how to make Kashmir a more happy and welcoming place for tourists. The foundation of the study tour mainly rested on these cornerstones which ultimately aimed at the betterment of tourism in the region.

During the course of this study tour, all the members of Maharashtra Tour Organizers Association along with the Kashmir's Tourism Director Mr. Talat visited 'Bhadarava' which is a newly developed tourist spot. The 'International Rafting Championship’ at Thathri was graced by the presence of the members of MTOA, who were invited as chief guests. On this occasion the members of Maharashtra Tour Organizers Association assured the Kashmiri people that they will send maximum number of tourists to these two new tourist spots: Bhadarava and Thathri.
