MTDC plans to complete Kalagram at Nashik in six months

The handicrafts, artifacts, clothes, food products, foodgrains etc. of local people will be displayed in the shops that will be constructed for them

The Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation's (MTDC) Kalagram on the lines of the Delhi Haat Bazaar at Govardhan village off of Gangapur Road, is expected to be complete in six months.

The bhoomipujan of the Kalagram was performed on Wednesday by the Nashik Lok Sabha MP Sameer Bhujbal and former president of the Maharashtra Chamber of Commerce Industries and Agriculture - Meenal Mohadikar.

Mohadikar praised the concept saying that all the facilities will be now be available in Nashik and citizens should avail of them.

An MTDC official said, "Now that the bhoomipujan has been done, the work will begin this month and we expect it to be completed in minimum six months' time. People can get a taste of local art and talent here."
