Taking a stride further in providing valuable tourist information publications, Madhya Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation has released three new guide books — Unknown Attractions around the Known Destinations, Rock Art of Madhya Pradesh and Temples of Madhya Pradesh.

General manager of the Corporation RP Chouhan informed that the Unknown Attractions around the Known Destinations focuses on the lesser known places of interest around the well known destinations. Due to the archaeological richness of the State, there are some places which are worth watching near almost every major destination.

Like Mitawali and Padhawali near Gwalior; Raneh and Pandav Falls near Khajuraho and Ginnorgarh Fort and Manua Bhan ki Tekri near Bhopal. The list is long and includes unknown places in Datia, Sheopur, Chhattarpur, Morena, Raisen and Mandsaur.

The guide book Rock Art of Madhya Pradesh is a comprehensive book about the rock art and rock shelters of Madhya Pradesh. The book has extensive information of the rock art found in and around Bhopal, Pachmari, Mandsaur and Rewa. A collection of photographs exclusively shot by the team of Eicher Goodearth makes it a collector’s choice.
