MP tourism opens its 55th resort at Choral dam near Indore

Resort has well-furnished 12-rooms and it has been built with a cost of Rs 12 crore

The 55th resort of Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation (MPSTDC) was inaugurated at Choral located 45 kilometres from Indore by industry minister Kailash Vijayvargiya on Monday.

He said there are huge possibilities for tourism in Indore region and Mhow in particular. Keeping this in mind, tourist infrastructure is being developed at Choral, Janapaw, Tincha and Patalpani.

Soon, boating facilities will be started at Choral dam. Initially, there will be about 10-15 paddleboats and eight to 10 motorboats, and the number of the boats will be increased in accordance with response.

Tourism minister Brijendra Pratap Singh said Indore region is being connected with mega-tourist circuits of state. Recently, the state has declared 16 new tourist circuits, including Indore. He said that efforts are being taken to increase tourist inflow in state by developing infrastructure and connecting tourist circuits.
