MOT sanctions over Rs 23 crore for tourist complex at Deoghar

The Union Ministry of Tourism has sanctioned over Rs 23.71 crore to develop a Q-Complex at Deoghar Temple under the centrally-sponsored product or infrastructure development for the destination and circuit scheme.

A steering committee has also been formed under the name ‘Mega Destination, Deoghar.’ The Tourism Secretary has been made the nodal officer for monitoring, execution and utilisation of funds for the mega project. The first installment, around Rs 11.85 crore, for a state-of-the-art Q-Complex at Deoghar Temple has been released.

The second installment of 30 per cent will be released after receipt of 50 per cent utilisation certificate of the previous installment.
