MHRIL acquires Royal Courts Jaisalmer from Divine Heritage Hotels

35 rooms of the 74-room property were already part of Club Mahindra network under an inventory arrangement

Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India announced on Friday that it has acquired Royal Courts Jaisalmer, a 74-room resort from Divine Heritage Hotels for an undisclosed amount.

In a statement, MHRIL said that the company has purchased 100 per cent equity share capital of Divine Heritage Hotels Pvt Ltd.

35 rooms of the 74-room property were already part of Club Mahindra network under an inventory arrangement, it added as per a report in Zee News.

Commenting on the acquisition, MHRIL Managing Director Rajiv Sawhney said,"Rajasthan is a key destination on India's tourism map and with Club Mahindra, Jaisalmer we strengthen our footprint....We will continue to add capacity in locations where Indians holiday."

The company now offers its members the complete Rajasthani experience with the Great Thar desert, lakes of Udaipur, Aravali mountains at Kumbalgarh and an open art gallery at Nawalgarh, he added.
