Macau’s ever evolving infrastructure and its cosmopolitan character has always fascinated the Indian traveller. The rising number of Indian arrivals in Macau has made it inevitable for the Macau Government Tourist Office (MGTO) to capitalize on the Indian market. As a result, to further expand its share in the Indian Outbound market, Macau trade is interacting with the Indian travel trade at a Mini Mart on 20th April, 2011 at The Trident, Mumbai and 22nd April 2011 at The Imperial, New Delhi.
The Macau Mini Mart is being organised to put together a platform for direct dialogue between India’s leading travel agents and tour operators with their eminent counterparts from Macau.
The aim of this mart is to enhance the knowledge of the Indian travel agents on Macau. Visitors will have a chance to increase networking with senior representatives from leading Macau hotels, tour operators, airport authority and TurboJet.
The occasion will be graced by the presence of Ms. Maria Helena De Senna Fernandes, Deputy Director of MGTO.
The Mart this year will see the following trade partners from Macau who will not only showcase their product by way of presentation but also through 1:1 sessions with the local trade. As MGTO showcases developments in Macau, it will help bridge the gap between the Indian and Macau travel trade.
