Leelaventure to enter into mid-market segment with Leela Garden Brand

The hotels chain also plans to take its luxury brand, The Leela, overseas.

Hotel Leelaventure is set to foray into the mid-market segment with its new brand Leela Garden in about five years. As per a report in the Financial Express, the company is planning to set up this new brand of hotels in pilgrimage hot spots. The hotels chain also plans to take its luxury brand, The Leela, overseas. 

“We will launch our mid-market brand — Leela Garden — in the next five years. The launch would take place after we establish our pan India presence with 12-15 hotels by 2015,” said Capt CP Krishnan Nair, chairman, Hotel Leelaventure Ltd. He added the company will open to both management as well as owned properties under the mid-market brand.

The Leela Garden brand will have 100 keys with large garden area around the properties. Nair said he has already been approached by real estate builders for setting up the hotel under the mid-market brand. The room rates at Leela Garden is expected to be around Rs 4,000-5,000 per night.
