Lavazza,the Italian coffee chain, has taken yet another step to accentuate the taste buds of its customers at its signature café Lavazza Espression. Having introduced an exquisite ‘Wine & Beer’ menu in its Delhi café, Lavazza plans to take the fine dining experience a notch higher for true connoisseurs of Italian food and coffee.
This will be the company’s first Espression store in India to introduce the wine menu. Lavazza entered the country with the acquisition of Barista Coffee Company” and “Fresh and Honest Cafe Ltd.” in 2007 and opened the first Lavazza Espression café in 2011 in the heart of the city in Delhi in Connaught Place. Lavazza also recently opened its second Espression café in India in the city of Bengaluru, at the Leela Palace hotel and plans to expand its presence to other leading cities in the country over the next few years.
Keeping in mind the urbane and varied audience it caters to and to heighten the fine dining experience at Espression, Lavazza has introduced a range of wines and beer to its existing exquisite F&B menu, which includes wines from both India and Italy.
While the Indian range includes wines such as the Sulla Brut, the Sula Chenin Blanc and the Satori Merlot; the Italian range will include Ruffino Orvieto Classico and Ruffino Chianti. The menu will also include three varieties of lager beers from the Fosters, Miller and the Peroni range. Product details are mentioned in the enclosed note.
