Kumari Selja, who was given the portfolio of Culture in the reshuffle of the council of ministers apart from Housing and Poverty Alleviation, has said that Augmenting resources of organisations like the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) and promoting classical arts are high on the agenda as per PTi reports.
Selja, who had handled education and culture as a junior minister, was given the portfolio of Culture yesterday in the reshuffle of the council of ministers apart from Housing and Poverty Alleviation.
"I will try to address the long pending problems plaguing organisations like ASI. They have done a wonderful job despite the shortage of manpower, legal help and funds.
