In a bid to promote Kolhapur as a global tourist destination, the Kolhapur Hoteliers Association officially launched 'Kolhapur Tourism' website- http://www.kolhapurtourism.org in Pune recently.

Addressing a press conference, Anand Mane, President, Hoteliers Association of Kolhapur said that the initiative is aimed at promoting tourism in Kolhapur and attracting both domestic and international tourists. "Kolhapur is a land with a rich history and has many things to offer to every tourist such as rivers, lakes, dams, hill stations. temples, forts, shopping - chappals, Kolhapuri gold and silver ornaments, spices and jaggery and the Kolhapuri cuisine", added Mane.
