Mr. Abraham George, Chairman & Managing Director of Intersight Group of Companies, has been unanimously elected as the new president of the Kerala Travel Mart (KTM) for 2013-15.
The office bearers and the members of the managing committee, which is tasked with organising the eighth edition of the biennial event in 2014, were elected at the 13th Annual General Meeting of the Kerala Travel Mart Society last week.
The other office-bearers are: Vice president- Mr. Gopalakrishnan M.R., Secretary- Mr. Anish Kumar P.K., Joint Secretary- Mr. Roy Chacko, and Treasurer – Mr. Jose Pradeep.
The Managing committee members include Mr. Baby Mathew, Mr. Dilip Pottamkulam, Mr. Hari Kumar C, Mr. Janeesh J, Mr. Jose Mathew, Mr. Mathew C Thomas, Mr. Mathews E V, Mr. Ravindran K, Mr. Riaz Ahmed, Mr. Riyaz U C, Mr. Ross Masood, Mr. Sajeev Kurup V, and Mr. Scaria Jose. Mr. Mathew Philip continues as the CEO of KTM.
KTM to explore new markets
The new president Mr. Abraham George said that KTM 2014 will explore new markets and identify more quality buyers from countries in East Asia, South America, and Europe. He said that KTM will target to attain benefit from the rupee devaluation and will penetrate the global market to make use of this opportunity.
