Kerala Travel Mart is a biennial event that showcases Kerala, Asia’s new age destination and India’s tourism Superbrand.

KTM is the only tourism event in the sub-continent that brings together the business fraternity and entrepreneurs behind the tourism products and services of Kerala.

KTM 2012, the seventh edition of the Kerala Travel Mart, will be held from 27th to 30th September, 2012 at Le Meridien Convention Centre,Cochin, India

It is today the largest gathering designed, planned and scheduled to facilitate meetings involving Buyers, Sellers, Media, Government Agencies and others. Besides Seminars, Press meets, Post Mart FAM Tours and cultural evenings, it gives the participant a first-hand experience of the destination.

Launched in 2000 as KTM 2000, six very successful Marts were conducted over the last twelve years with the participation of Buyers from around 50 countries and other parts of India. Each Mart sees about 1000 selected Buyers who come into contact with around 300 Sellers.

Kerala Travel Mart Society, the Organizers, is a permanent Institution constituted and registered in 2000 as a Society under the Travancore-Cochin Literary, Scientific and Charitable Societies Act of 1995.

Membership is open to any tourism service provider, in Kerala, which is approved by the Managing Committee. The Society has 550 members with profiles varying from Airline, Ayurveda Centre, Farmstay, Homestay, Hotel, Speciality Hospital, Resort, Travel Agent to Tour Operators specialized in Adventure, Backwater, Heritage, Monsoon, Plantation, Wedding and Honeymoon packages.

KTM, in partnership with the Govt.,  is the only tourism event in the sub-continent that brings together the business fraternity and entrepreneurs behind the tourism products and services of Kerala. It is today , the largest gathering designed, planned and scheduled to facilitate meetings involving Buyers, Sellers, Media, Govt. agencies and others. Its strength is reflected in the increasing participation of Sellers and Buyers.

At KTM 2012, there will be 108 Tables, 296 modules and 12 Houseboat parking bays. At the same time, it expects around  900 Buyers from almost 50 countries and other States in India to participate in this edition.
