will market tourism in Japan and Finland, two of the 11 countries included in the tourist visa on arrival (VoA) facility between September and January, tourism minister A P Anil Kumar said.
The minister was addressing a press conference after visiting the VoA counters at the Trivandrum International Airport. Chief minister Oommen Chandy, too, visited the counters on Wednesday.
Expressing satisfaction at the function of the VoA counters, the tourism minister said, "VoAs have been issued to four people since it started on August 15. Kerala is hoping to achieve 30 lakh foreign tourists by 2021 compared to the 8 lakh foreigners who visited the state last year."
