The Federation of Hotel and Restaurant Association of India (FHRAI) has elected Kamlesh Barot as its new President. The decision was taken during Annual General Meeting (AGM) of FHRAI that was held on November 30 in New Delhi, where Barot took over the charge officially.
Barot said that in his new role he will like to take forward the relay baton of responsibility and garner the fruits of synergy of the members, instead of re-inventing the wheel.
Barot has taken the charge with full preparation with an agenda in place and wants to focus on which areas such as taxation and legal issues, improvement of membership and its services, Tourism Year 2012, State and National Tourism Policy, restaurant issues, etc.
