Mr. K. N. Srivastava, IAS, today assumed charge as Secretary, Ministry of Civil Aviation on retirement of Dr. S.N.A.Zaidi, IAS from the service.

Srivastava was earlier working as Special Secretary and Financial Adviser in the Ministry of External Affairs. He has wide experience in the field of civil aviation.

Soon after taking over the charge, the new Secretary took a series of meetings with senior officers of the Ministry and reviewed the civil aviation sector in the country.
