Jet Airways has launched Bangalore's maiden international flight to the Gulf, connecting India's IT Hub with Abu Dhabi. The launch of Jet Airways' inaugural service at Kempegowda International Airport (KIA), Bangalore was marked by a multi faith prayer followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Raghavendra H Auradkar - Bangalore City Police chief, in the presence of other dignitaries.
The new route from Bangalore is Jet Airways' first international flight from the state capital to the Gulf. Flight 9W504 departed from KIA at 8.30pm and arrived at Abu Dhabi International Airport at 11.30pm local time.
