Jet Airways is set to deploy its long haul Boeing 777-300ER aircraft into service on the Mumbai – Hong Kong & Newark sectors. The widebody Boeing 777-300ER, with its three class configuration, including the airline’s world renowned First Class service, will significantly enrich the inflight experience of Jet Airways’ guests. The airline currently operates Airbus 330-200 aircraft on these sectors.
The aircraft change on the Mumbai to Hong Kong daily service would be effective July 28, 2011. Flight 9W 76 will depart Mumbai at 0105 hrs and arrive Hong Kong at 0925 hrs local time. On the return leg, 9W 75 will depart at 1915 hrs local time and arrive Mumbai at 2300 hrs local time.
Effective September 23, 2011 Jet Airways will deploy a Boeing 777 -300 ER aircraft from Mumbai to Newark, via Brussels, twice a week (on Fridays & Sundays only).
According to Mr. Sudheer Raghavan, Chief Commercial Officer, Jet Airways, “We are delighted to announce the deployment of the state-of-the-art Boeing 777-300ER aircraft on the Hong Kong and Newark routes, which has been necessitated due to growing traffic demand in the premium segment. We are confident that the Boeing 777’s three class configuration will help us deliver a significantly superior and enriched service experience for all our guests.”
