JTA & JNTO launches campaign, 'Japan-Endless Discovery' in India

Japan Tourism Agency (JTA) and Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) launched their new campaign 'Japan: Endless Discovery,' in India earlier this month. According to a report, JTA and JNTO have also launched a website, www.go-premiumjapan.com to educate, promote and attract Indians to visit Japan. The website provides useful information about travelling in Japan through maps, travel planners, shopping guides, list of restaurant and wallpapers. The site also has a special section for travel agents to help them prepare special packages for visitors travelling to Japan.

One of the biggest attractions of the website is the lucky draw to win Japanese gifts. A simple form needs to be filled out starting September 15, 2010 and the lucky winner will win a free Trip to Japan. The other prizes include Japanese gift boxes, Japanese food hampers and Japan travel guide books. The website also includes an interesting list of Indian restaurants in Japan in order to make the visitor aware and comfortable, of the fact that there are thousands of restaurants in Japan for the Indian visitor. JTA and JNTO will also be participating in the Outbound Travel Market (OTM) exhibitions in Mumbai and Delhi in February 2011 and will also conduct seminars for Indian travel agents to promote Japan as a 'premium travel destination.'
