IC coded flights to go off the reservation systems from Jan 29, 2011

Any changes requiring re-issuance will have to be done with 098 stock as 058 documents will not be valid for fresh issuance/re-issuance.

A common passenger services system [PSS] is being implemented from January 29, 2011 by Air India and the Indian Airlines, The migration to the common passenger services system and a common code 098 has been planned with effect from 1400 hrs on January 29, 2011. 

Thus, effective January 29, 2011 from 0001 hours, no IC coded flights will reflect in the Reservation System and the GDS. All the current IC coded flights will be reflected as AI coded flights. All the PNRs under IC code will be changed to AI code with the new flight number and a new record locator will be generated by SITA to the GDS for these PNRs.
